Since this product has an oil finish, regular maintenance is required. If the surface becomes dry or whitish as you use it, soak it in oil. We recommend walnut oil and flaxseed oil, which are drying oils.
As long as you cut or put the bread on it, you only need to remove the bread scraps. Soaking in the oil of bread is also a good nutrient for trees. Therefore, you don't have to wash it like a pottery dish each time. When cleaning, wash with a thin neutral detergent, and after cleaning, wipe off the water well and dry in the shade.
