    はぎ合わせた廃材木から等間隔に削り出された美しい三角形の凹凸は、焼きたてのトーストを置いた時、わずかに浮かせることで蒸れを軽減させます。 さらに、凹の底部分にはギザギザの細かいスリットが入っており、余分な湿気も吸い取りやすくしています。また、効率よくトーストの油分が木材に染み込むことで木材を保護するとともに、表面へ汚れとして残らないので一回一回お皿を洗う手間を省きます。

    (洗浄する場合は、薄めの中性洗剤で洗って頂いて、洗浄後は水気をよく拭き取り立て掛けて陰干ししてください。)

    【メンテナンス】

    本製品はオイル仕上げとなっておりますので定期的なメンテナンスが必要になります。使用して行くうちに表面がカサついたり白っぽくなってきたらオイルを染み込ませてあげてください。乾性油であるクルミ油や亜麻仁油などがお薦めです。

    パンを切ったり乗せたりするくらいであればパンくずを払う程度で大丈夫です。パンの油分が染み込むことは木にも良い栄養となります。そのため、陶器のお皿のようにその都度洗わなくても大丈夫です。洗浄する場合は、薄めの中性洗剤で洗って頂いて、洗浄後は水気をよく拭き取り立て掛けて陰干ししてください。
